When I smiled at you, you didn’t fall
when you talked to me, I didn’t melt
when we laughed together we weren’t in love
That one meeting wasn’t enough at all.
We talked again, laughed again..
we even shared some pain.
one day at a time..one moment than another..
10 thousand small things..finally brought us closer.
So many talks, smiles, laughs we shared..
Its hard to believe our effort simply failed.
Where did months of effort disappear?
I still cant see the picture clear.
10 thousand good and 1 bad won..
its like angels been defeated by a demon.
One day, one talk, one word..
Was enough to break the bond.
10 thousand small things to make it
...and one “anything” breaks it?
How is it fair? How did this happen?
Months of effort simply went in vain.
10 thousand good things...
got overshadowed by one bad,
How easily we let go, of everything we had.
10 thousand good and 1 bad won,
We let our angels be defeated by a demon.
